COACHES CORNER

GAMES BEGIN APRIL 11

Due to our soggy playing conditions all fields except Madison are closed for games until 4/11.

Our first scheduled games were 3/28 with in-house opponents and they will be rescheduled later in the season.

Game schedules will be posted as soon as they are finalized - remember always check the opponent's website to verify that their fields are open.

Good luck this weekend to Greg Banks' U8 team which will have its first game in Madison.

NOTICE: NEW POLICY REGARDING ROSTER SIZE LIMITS:
In order to ensure that all of the kids registered get an equal amount of playing time, effective Spring of 2015, roster sizes will be capped at a number that equals 1 1/2 times the number of players on the field plus 1. As an example, in the U-10 age group, 6 kids play on the field (5 plus the goalie) so the roster size will be capped at 10. So the first 10 players for that age group will be guaranteed a spot. The next players registered will be placed on a waiting list. If enough players register to have additional teams,  we will then place the players in a pool and teams will be drafted as we have always done in the past. So please register early and remind all of your friends to register too.

Requests to move an athlete up an age group must be made at time of registration.
Age groups are posted at VYSA.  All teams are coed.
Full uniforms for $40.
(Individual pieces:  jersey $23, shorts $11 and socks $6)
U-6 players do not require a uniform as they do not play official games.
PLEASE NOTE: PER THE SCHOOL BOARD NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED AT OR AROUND THE FIELDS.
