WINTER SOCCER TRAINING

WINTER SOCCER TRAINING AT THE AUXILIARY GYM

Register now to get top notch training for your child. Sessions will last for one hour and will be every Saturday evening for the months of January and February. Coaches include Steve Lee and Kevin Reid along with guest coaches who will  work a few of the sessions. So register now to make sure you get in before the slots are all gone. Culpeper Fields - CHANGE in case of rain/wet fields

 Please note that if the main Culpeper Fields close due to wetness, games may be shifted over to a new location, Emerald Hill Elementary School.  Please go online to the Culpeper site or check with a coach for details as this is a new policy for Culpeper this year. 

Parking

NO PARKING ON THE GRASS NEXT TO THE FENCE FOR SOCCER HOME GAMES AND PRACTICES. 

Please park at the elementary school and walk up the hill. 

THE SCHOOLHOUSE ROAD EMBANKMENTS MUST STAY CLEAR.

If you have a handicap permit, you may park in the designated spots.

Soccer Tips

DEFINITIONS

Kick off:          Center field to start game or after a goal to restart game.

Goal kick:       Defense kicks from their goal line if offense kicks it over the end line.

Corner kick:     Offense kicks from corner arc because defense touched ball before it went over end line.

Throw-in:        Ball is thrown in from sideline. Ball goes behind the head and both feet are on the ground at release.

Offside:         When an offensive player is involved in the play and is ahead of the 2nd to the last defender when the ball is kicked
